Geoff arrived from Perth in 1975 with Barrelhouse. Later joined Jim Keays Band in 1978, played in other various scratch bands until 1981. From 1981 to 1988 he played with many Afro/Reggae Bands such as Randy & Jah Roots, Afro Jam, Bokossa and Cool Runnin etc…

In 1989 Geoff formed power trio, Test the Water and consequently was spotted by Ian who invited him to join Carson Taylor in November 1992.
