Kevin started playing at the age of nine, being heavily influenced by Eric Clapton. In 1972 he formed Mammoth who played around Melbourne until joining Dave and the Derros in 1979. In 1981 Kevin was writing jingles for 3XY and Fox FM until he formed Bandit with Geordie Leech (ex Rose Tattoo) in 1985.

Kevin has played with well known guitar virtuoso Harvey James (Sherbert) and prior to joining Carson Taylor in 1994 did a three year stint with lifetime friends from Mammoth.
